Advanced Practice Provider - Full-time Nights - Bedford Medical Center

Job Description:
Description Seeking an experienced, full-time Advanced Practice Provider to work Night shift at Bedford Medical Center.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday - 10 hours (8pm - 6am).
Experienced advanced practice candidates only will be considered.
Position
Summary:
o Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research.
o Establishes plan of care and implements interventions in accordance with carepaths, protocols, and standards of care and current research.
o Collaborates w/other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family.
o Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures o Develop and implement treatment plans o Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions o Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self.
o Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management.
o Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism.
o Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review.
o Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers.
o Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers.
o Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
o Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
Qualifications Experience and Knowledge: Must possess a minimum of 1 year of advanced practice experience Demonstration of quality care in prior positions.
Demonstrated leadership skills Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships Education/Expertise: Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.
-or- Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.
e.
RN, RRT): Nurse Practitioner: Current RN license to practice in Ohio Current APRN license to practice in Ohio Nurse Practitioner Certification - Adult Gero; Acute Care certification strongly preferred DEA required -or- Physician Assistant: NCCPA-certified PA (PA-C) or eligible to be certified.
Must meet all requirements of the Ohio State Medical Board for Physician Assistants.
Approval by the Ohio State Medical Board of standard or supplemental physician assistant utilization plan and supervision agreement between supervising physician and physician assistant before beginning work as a PA.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
