The Process Engineer assists all plant operations in controlling processes to levels that meet expectations related to quality, cost, control, and consistency.
Creates and maintains databases and reporting of performance.
Troubleshoots variability for reduction or elimination.
The Process Engineer will perform projects with the goal of achieving cost reductions and process and part improvements.
Create, maintain, and evaluate process control systems and procedures Troubleshoot production activities with variation and out of control parameters Set up projects, collect and input data, perform statistical analysis as the measure for significance Interface with engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to determine root cause for process and part issues Identify opportunities for process improvements resulting in cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency Perform day-to-day monitoring of department specific process outputs Complete projects in a timely manner with accuracy using sound scientific methodology, with attention to detail and good judgement Effectively communicate and work with manufacturing, quality, NPI, and engineering Provide input and analysis for procedural changes to include work instructions and manuals Other related duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities Knowledge and ability to perform statistical analysis and technical report preparation Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral at all levels Ability to define, plan, and complete projects with accuracy and on time Ability to prepare written reports and make presentations Ability to apply engineering and scientific principles and methodology toward problem identification and resolution Strong understanding of GD&T Ability to balloon prints is preferred, but not required Strong understanding of Six Sigma methodology is preferred Ability and willingness to work with individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds Knowledge of investment casting is preferred PI226499344 Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Blueprinting Communication Cost Reduction Databases Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
