Summary:
The Audit II position of McCarthy, Burgess & Wolff, Inc.
(MBW) is responsible for high-level auditing accounts and reviewing collector work to ensure company and client compliance is adhered to.
Essential Job Functions:
Reviews accounts for closure and returns accounts to collectors where all work has not been completed.
Reviews Collector calls for company and client compliance.
Reviews inbound correspondence and/or Consumer communication to identify specific Client process/handling.
Reviews outbound correspondence for adherence of Client compliance specifications.
Assists in resolution of debtor complaints and disputes.
Reviews and verifies bankruptcy information on accounts.
Assists Auditing and Compliance Manager with special projects.
Performs special close and return projects as requested.
Reads, comprehends, and adheres to any and all applicable MBW/FDCPA/ISO/Regulatory/Client policies/procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:

BILINGUAL:
Must speak, read and write fluent English and Spanish.
Knowledge:
Previous Collections and/or Collection Auditing experience.
Skills/Aptitudes:
Organized and above average attention to detail.
Excellent communication both written/verbal.
Must be knowledgeable of client compliance requirements, and familiar with ISO, SSAE 16, Company standards, TCPA, FCRA, etc.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to prioritize conflicting demands, take initiative, work proactively and be resourceful; outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse set of personalities and a strong client focus; and self-starter with a desire to grow/learn.
Proven ability to teach and interact effectively in difficult situations.
